AM GUDIBERG

THE RACE

The Gudiberg hill is situated next to the ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and is one of the steepest and most difficult slalom slopes in the Alpine World Cup. The whole course – from start to the finish line – is completely visible to the spectators. The atheletes start into the slope with a gradient of 58%, going over into the Partnachwiese and continuing with 45% at the Schanzenhang. In the last section, from the WM-Kurve to the finish line, the terrain flattens.
